Pinnacle Bank Arena
Engineered Controls provided the environmental control system for the new Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE. The new arena is located in the West Haymarket district of Lincoln and has a seating capacity of 15,147. The 470,400 square-foot, $179 million venue will play host to both of The University of Nebraska’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, concerts and other events. The arena is controlled by a state-of-the art Honeywell WEBs-AX building management system. Engineered Controls is very proud to be part of this highly recognized project.
Engineered Controls provided the environmental control system for the new Ralston Arena in Omaha, NE. The $36-million arena will be the host of a wide range of activities from University of Nebraska Omaha men’s basketball and the Omaha Lancers junior hockey teams. The 5,000 seat arena is controlled by a state-of-the art Honeywell WEBs-AX building management system with special emphasis to maintaining strict environmental conditions utilizing geothermal heating and cooling for the central ice plant that is critical to keeping the hockey rinks frozen year-round.
Engineered Controls retrofitted the entire Woodmen Tower building with a new state-of-the-art Honeywell environmental control system for the 30 story skyscraper in down town Omaha, NE. Engineered Controls challenge was to retrofit the entire 600,000 sq. ft. facility with a new Honeywell WEBs-AX building management system while the facility was still occupied with Woodmen employees and tenants.
Omaha-Douglas Civic Center
Engineered Controls retrofitted the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center with Honeywell’s new Maxpro VMS or video management system. The Honeywell VMS architecture includes a Maxpro-Net Server with 5, 32-channel Fusion DVR’s and more than 150 cameras. In addition to an expansive video system, Engineered Controls also provided the Omaha-Douglas Civic Center with a new Amano McGann state-of- the-art Parking Access and Revenue Control System for their 500 space parking garage.
J. James Exon FBI Building
Engineered Controls provided the environmental control system for the new J. James Exxon FBI Headquarters Building in Omaha, NE. The 160,000 sq. ft. facility that serves as the Regional Headquarters for the FBI achieved LEED Gold certification and incorporated numerous sustainable design features.
